2021 Tree Planting

As the old Chinese proverb says; “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.” As the Wild Rice SCD closes the book on tree plantings for 2020, we would encourage anyone thinking about planting trees next year to visit with our staff this summer as we can look at the site to determine what trees could be planted, site preparation that could be started this fall, and submit applications if financial assistance is available.
